This custom furniture collection was developed as part of an interior design project by Kenya Rodríguez Studio.

The design celebrates the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of Guadalajara through the thoughtful use of solid wood, handcrafted amber glass, and premium leather. Inspired by Sergio Ortiz's iconic booth designs, each piece was conceived to reflect the character and identity of the space while honoring traditional woodworking techniques.

Every element—from the custom lighting fixtures to the selection of finishes and materials—was carefully designed in close collaboration with local artisans and manufacturers throughout Jalisco. This collaborative process brought together the expertise of multiple craftspeople, resulting in furniture that balances contemporary design with exceptional craftsmanship.

The project pays tribute to the essence of the bar, where the cross serves as its defining symbol and is subtly integrated into the furniture details. Handcrafted amber glass, locally sourced cedar wood, and exposed joinery highlight the authenticity of the materials and the quality of the artisanal work behind each piece.

Mobiliario que fue desarrollado para proyecto dentro del estudio de interiorismo de Kenya Rodríguez Estudio.

En el diseño, la madera, el cristal y la vaqueta reflejan la esencia tapatía y el proceso artesanal del mobiliario, destacando el icónico diseño de booths de Sergio Ortiz. Cada elemento fue cuidadosamente concebido, desde la creación de luminarias hasta la selección de materiales, en colaboración con fabricantes locales de Jalisco. Este trabajo en equipo involucró a múltiples proveedores, quienes aportaron su experiencia al proceso.

El proyecto rinde homenaje a la esencia del bar, simbolizada principalmente por la cruz, que se integra de manera sutil en el mobiliario. Los detalles del diseño incorporan vidrio ámbar, fabricado de forma artesanal, y maderas de cedro, donde las uniones visibles resaltan la calidad y autenticidad de la mano de obra

As part of my role at Kenya Rodríguez Studio, I developed a collection of custom furniture designed specifically for this project, including a credenza, coffee tables, and benches. Each piece was carefully detailed and developed through technical drawings, featuring layered construction techniques and meticulously crafted assembled tops.

The furniture was conceived to integrate seamlessly with the interior architecture, emphasizing craftsmanship, refined detailing, and timeless proportions. Warm wood tones and thoughtfully selected finishes reinforce a sense of understated comfort and sophistication, complementing the exclusive character of the club and its surrounding environment.

Every piece was designed with a strong focus on materiality, functionality, and artisanal execution, resulting in bespoke furniture that enhances both the aesthetic and spatial experience of the project.

Desarrolle dentro del estudio, una serie de mobiliario diseñado específicamente para este espacio: credenza, mesas de centro y bancas creadas a partir de planos seriados y cubiertas ensambladas. El diseño de estas piezas fue concebido por la interiorista a cargo de esta parte del proyecto, con especial atención en el detalle, el trabajo artesanal y la integración formal con el entorno. La elección de tonalidades cálidas y la atención a los acabados refuerzan una sensación de confort sobrio, alineada con la identidad del club y su entorno exclusivo.
